Violinist Nigel Kennedy will perform at St Georges Hall in Bradford on Thursday the 8th of October 2026 as part of his first large-scale UK tour in more than 15 years.

The Bradford date forms part of Kennedy’s Virtuoso Concert Performance tour, which is taking him to towns and cities across the UK, including a number of places he has not performed in for more than two decades.

Kennedy became widely known following the release of his 1989 recording of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, which helped establish him as one of the world’s best-selling violinists. More recently, he has performed at London’s Royal Festival Hall and completed a sold-out run at Ronnie Scott’s jazz club in Soho.

Speaking about taking the tour beyond London, Kennedy said:

“Obviously I love London (and Birmingham) but there’s a different vibe about places with maybe 40,000 people in the town itself. The audience are what makes a concert special… it is a team collaboration and music is an inspiration for bringing people together.”

The programme for the Bradford concert is expected to draw on a range of musical styles. Pieces announced for the tour include selections from Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, Gershwin’s The Man I Love, Bach’s Chaconne from the Partita No.2 in D minor and an arrangement of Danny Boy.

Kennedy will be joined by long-time collaborators Alec Dankworth on double bass and cellist Peter Adams.

The Bradford performance will take place at Bradford City Hall on Thursday the 8th of October 2026.
