New Works Festival Opens with Untitled 4: How are You?

Local artists present new performances exploring care and social change

The New Works Festival will open on Thursday 13 November 2025 at Theatre in the Mill, University of Bradford, with a presentation of new work from the final Untitled 4 cohort of 2025. This artist development programme supports emerging talent and showcases innovative performances that address themes of speculative care and social transformation.

  • Times: Two showings available – 14:00 to 16:00 and 19:00 to 21:00

The artists featured in this cohort are Joachim Keke, Chandni Soren, Tahir Shah, Jan-Ming Lee, Helen Stead, and Ellie Harrison. Their works collectively explore contemporary social issues through performance, dance, comedy, and theatre.

Additional Activities

Following the evening performance, attendees are invited to stay for drinks, snacks, and live music from the band Gilank until 22:00. This provides an opportunity for networking and reflection on the development journey of the Untitled programme.

  • Concession: £2.00 per showing
  • Festival ticket (all three events): £15.00 general, £10.00 concession
