NT Live to Screen The Audience at Bingley Arts Centre

The National Theatre Live production of The Audience will be shown at Bingley Arts Centre on 23 March 2026, with two screenings scheduled at 2:30pm and 7:30pm. This marks the return of the play to cinemas for the first time in over ten years.
The Audience features Helen Mirren in the role of Queen Elizabeth II. The play, directed by Stephen Daldry, has received Olivier and Tony Awards and explores the private weekly meetings the Queen held with her prime ministers over a span of 60 years. These meetings, known as “The Audience,” provided insight into the relationship between the monarch and political leaders, including Winston Churchill, Margaret Thatcher, and David Cameron.
