Bradford to host three-day Oktoberfest event in September

Bradford will celebrate Oktoberfest 2026 with a three-day event at Darley Street Market from 18 to 20 September. The event will feature a selection of traditional German beers, live music, and German-style food, offering visitors a chance to experience the festive atmosphere of the famous Bavarian celebration.

Beer and Food Offerings

The event is organised in collaboration with Bradford CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) and Northern Monk brewery. Attendees will have access to a variety of beers, including six Munich Oktoberfest beers served at the CAMRA bar. These beers include Augustiner, Hacker-Pschorr, Hofbrau, Lowenbrau, Spaten, and Paulaner. Additionally, four specially selected German guest beers will be available.

Northern Monk will operate a separate bar offering four different beers alongside non-alcoholic options. All beers will be priced at £6 per pint, or per bottle in the case of Augustiner. Payment can be made by card or cash, with a token system in place for cash transactions.

Food will be provided by Taplins Butchers, known for their Germanic-style cuisine, complementing the beer selection and enhancing the Oktoberfest experience.

Entertainment

Live music will be provided by the Yorks Oompah Band, who are scheduled to perform four times during the event. Their performances will take place at 15:00 and 18:00 on both Friday 18 and Saturday 19 September.
