Opportunity for Artists to Participate in Life Drawing Session

A life drawing session is set to take place on Saturday 21 March 2026 at Keighley Creative. The event is open to both beginners interested in trying life drawing for the first time and established artists seeking a chance to practise and connect with others in the field.

Location: Keighley Creative, 3-7 Cooke Lane, BD21 3PF
Cost: £20 per participant, payable on the day by cash or card
Capacity: Maximum of 10 artists per session

The session includes a short break for tea and coffee, which is included in the price. Participants are expected to bring their own drawing materials and paper. Suitable materials include pencils, charcoal, oil pastels, watercolour, acrylic, or gouache paints. Materials that create dust, such as some pastels, and oil paints are not permitted due to the public nature of the venue.

Facilities and Accessibility

Keighley Creative provides easels and drawing boards for use during the session, supported by Bradford Senior Power and the Arts Council. However, the venue is located up several steps without lift access, which may be a consideration for those with mobility issues. The organisers note that once the group relocates to a new permanent building, full accessibility will be available.
