The Slambovian Circus of Dreams, a band from New York known for their distinctive blend of Americana music, will be performing at the Caroline Street Social Club in Saltaire on 2 September 2026. The concert is scheduled to start at 7:30pm and run until 10pm.
Band background and musical style
Formed over 20 years ago in the Hudson Valley of New York, The Slambovian Circus of Dreams have developed a reputation for their eclectic mix of musical influences. Their style incorporates elements of southern rock, Celtic and British folk, combined with a psychedelic edge reminiscent of Woodstock-era music. The band’s sound has been described as a “slice of Americana pie” with strong songwriting at its core.
The group returned to the UK in June 2024 after a successful 2022 tour that included headlining appearances at notable festivals such as Fairport’s Cropredy Festival and Wickham Festival. During that tour, they were voted ‘Best Band’ by fans and promoters. Since 2008, they have toured extensively across the UK, playing in towns and festivals from Lochinvar to Penzance.

Their latest album, A Very Unusual Head, was featured in Rock’n’Reel Magazine’s ‘Best Albums of 2022’ list and includes contributions from Anthony Thistlethwaite, co-founder of The Waterboys.

Tickets for the event are priced at £22 for the general public, £20 for TLR Chorus members, and £11 for under-18s and full-time students. The concert will take place at Caroline Street Social Club, located on Caroline Street, Saltaire, Shipley, BD18 3JZ.
