Evening event to showcase local creative communities alongside Turner Prize exhibition

Cartwright Hall Art Gallery will host the final event in its Turner Lates series on Thursday 15 January 2026, running from 6pm to 9pm. The evening will coincide with the Turner Prize 2025 exhibition, featuring work by four of the UK’s emerging visual artists. The event aims to highlight the creative communities of Bradford alongside the Turner Prize display.

The Turner Lates event offers visitors the opportunity to explore the Turner Prize 2025 exhibition during extended evening hours, with last admission at 8pm. Alongside the exhibition, a range of activities and workshops will be available, including:

  • A conversation between Turner Prize nominee Mohammed Sami and the exhibition’s curator Michael Richmond
  • A workshop led by artist Lauren Kelly to create Turner Prize-inspired zines
  • Bradford-themed canapés provided by Edible Archives
  • ‘Potteraoke’, a pottery and karaoke fusion hosted by Mavis and Mabel from the Portland Inn Project

The event is designed to provide a mix of arts, crafts, music, and food to engage visitors in the local creative scene.

Admission to the Turner Lates event is free, but booking is required in advance. The event forms part of a series of special Thursday evening events held at Cartwright Hall during the Turner Prize 2025 exhibition, which runs from 27 September 2025 to 22 February 2026.
