Bradford (Park Avenue) have confirmed that defender Jameel Ible has signed a new contract to stay with the club until the end of the 2026/27 season. The Leeds-born centre-back has been a key figure in the team’s defence throughout the 2025/26 campaign.
Consistent performances throughout 2025/26
During the recent season, Ible demonstrated notable consistency and durability. He made 37 league appearances, accumulating over 3,300 minutes on the pitch. Beyond league matches, he also featured in nine cup fixtures and played every minute of the club’s two playoff semi-final games. His aerial ability contributed to the team’s efforts, with three goals scored in league competition.
Manager’s comments on Ible’s role
Bradford (Park Avenue) manager Craig Elliott highlighted Ible’s importance to the squad, describing his season as “simply outstanding.” Elliott emphasised the defender’s influence both on the field and in the dressing room, stating that retaining Ible was a top priority for the club.
