Keighley to Host Jurassic Adventure Family Event
June 11, 2026Exciting dinosaur-themed activities planned for early August
Keighley Centre will be the location for a week-long family event called “Keighley’s Jurassic Adventure” running from 3rd to 8th August 2026. This free event offers a range of arts and crafts and interactive activities designed to engage visitors of all ages with a prehistoric theme.
Event Schedule and Activities
- 3rd August: Launch of the Dino Trail, which will be available throughout the week. This trail encourages families to explore and learn about dinosaurs in a fun and educational way.
- 4th to 8th August: The Fossil Play Dig Zone will be set up at the Airedale Centre, providing a hands-on experience where children can dig for fossils and learn about paleontology.
- 5th August: The Dino Bus will arrive at Church Green, offering a day packed with various dinosaur-themed activities suitable for families.
