Bantams FanZone to Open at Darley Street Market

Family-friendly event ahead of Bradford City AFC home match

A free FanZone event will take place at Darley Street Market Courtyard on Saturday 26 September 2026, offering activities and entertainment for football supporters and local residents ahead of Bradford City AFC’s home game that day.

The event is scheduled to run from 12:00 to 14:30 and is open to all ages. It is organised in collaboration with Bradford City AFC and aims to provide a lively atmosphere for fans and families in the city centre.

Activities and entertainment on offer

• Outdoor bars operated by Molson Coors and Northern Monk, featuring the exclusive Bantams lager ‘Take Me Home’ and snacks
• Penalty shoot-out challenge with Billy Bantam, the club’s mascot
• Garden games and face-painting for children and families
• Football highlights screenings
• Special offers from traders at Darley Street Market
• Video game stations with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and FC24 available on the Darley Street Kitchen setup

In addition to these activities, there will be live music performances by The Long Shadow Family, a local band, who will play two sets between 12:30 and 14:30.

The FanZone will be held at Darley Street Market, located at 16-24 Darley Street, Bradford BD1 3HH. The event is free to attend and does not require advance booking.
