Bradford (Park Avenue) AFC have confirmed their first pre-season friendly match for the 2026-27 season. The club will host Sheffield FC, who compete in the Northern Counties East League (NCEL) Premier Division, at the Horsfall Community Stadium on Monday 13 July, with kick-off set for 7.30pm.
Sheffield FC’s recent performance and management
Sheffield FC, known as the world’s oldest football club, are managed by Vill Powell, who previously served as assistant manager at Bradford (Park Avenue). The team narrowly missed out on promotion last season, losing on penalties in the Playoff Semi Final to Tadcaster Albion, managed by Ryan Qualter.
Despite relegation to the NCEL Premier Division, Sheffield FC finished third in the league table during the 2025-26 season, accumulating 72 points from 38 matches.
