Bradford Park Avenue Introduces New Recycling Bins

Efforts to Improve Waste Management at Horsfall Community Stadium

Bradford (Park Avenue) AFC has introduced new waste disposal bins at the Horsfall Community Stadium as part of an initiative to enhance recycling and waste management at the venue. The club has partnered with a new waste management supplier to provide clearly marked bins for spectators and staff to use during events.

Details of the New Bins

• The new bins are purple with lids in different colours to indicate the type of waste accepted.
• There are bins designated for dry mixed recycling, which includes recyclable items free from contaminants such as food waste and oils.
• General waste bins remain available for non-recyclable rubbish.
• A separate glass bin is provided specifically for use by bar staff.

The club encourages all attendees to use the bins appropriately to help keep the stadium clean and contribute to environmental sustainability. The introduction of these bins aims to make recycling easier and more accessible for everyone at the stadium.
