Advocate programme
October 13, 2022Expressions of interest for the Advocate roles at Here 4 BDCC consortium have now opened! The roles are to work within their voice and influence team.
They are encouraging a range of people to apply, as they look to both develop talent, and work with experienced advocates from the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise sector. There are both paid and unpaid positions.
Payment will be made at £40 per hour to the employing organisation to back fill time.
Working as part of a network of Advocates with specialist areas of expertise. Advocates will be responsible for ensuring that the diverse voices of the VCSE are heard and engaged in leadership, representing the depth of communities in Bradford and Craven.
Advocates will be responsible for taking the views, intelligence and data from the VCSE into system meeting they will then feed this information back into the consortium via the database and relevant meetings.

When submitting your Expression of Interest (EOI), please include how you meet the criteria on the person specification. They would also like you to include your broad areas of interest and expertise, as well as whether your organisation would require payment.

Who are Here4 BDCC?
Here4 Bradford District & Craven Communities (Here4 BDCC) is a consortium of Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise organisations. They are working as a collaborative team across the Bradford and Craven Districts to ensure seamless infrastructure support services are provided to maximise the impact of resources in communities. They are committed to creating single point access and ‘no wrong door’ policies so VCSE organisations find services first time.
Their Vision:
A diverse and vibrant VCSE that is becoming an increasingly significant part of the economic and social landscape. They want to see VCSE organisations taking a wider role in helping communities to own and manage the challenges and opportunities they face.
Their approach puts Bradford District and Craven communities at the heart of everything they do, wrapping seamless services around them and feeding their insight out to stakeholders.
