A festive ‘thank you’ from Bradford Hospitals’ Charity

December 22, 2022 Off By admin

Organisations and businesses from across Bradford and beyond have donated gifts worth £10,000 to children in hospital this Christmas.

Bradford Hospitals’ Charity – the official charity of Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust – co-ordinates an annual ‘toy drop’ for the city’s hospitals to make sure young patients receive a gift from Santa.

Donations have ranged from £3,000 worth of toys from EPE International, £2,000 worth of toys from JCI Junior Chamber of Commerce, and £1,000 worth of blankets and books from Sovereign Health Care. A number of individuals have also purchased toys and gifts from the Bradford Hospitals’ Charity Amazon Wish Lists, with a number of groups donating selection boxes.

Sharon Milner, Charity Director for Bradford Hospitals’ Charity, said: “Christmas is a magical time for children, so we are so grateful to all the people who have donated to help deliver a better and brighter Christmas for those who are in hospital. Thank you to one and all from everyone here at Bradford Hospitals’ Charity.

“We are looking forward to working even closer with our communities in 2023.”
