Grade 2 (lower): £10,086.50 – £11,405 per annum (£20,173 – £22,810 FTE)

Bradford Survive and Thrive is an exciting and innovative multi-agency partnership bringing together 3 organisations , Family Action, Staying Put and Women’s Centre Limited who are working together to develop a ‘one system approach’ to families affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence.
This role is to work with children and families who have experienced domestic abuse. These families may be living in the family home, in refuges or in dispersed accommodation.
Your impact
You will work with the children and families to assess their needs and devise a child focused support plan which aims to create safety and stability and reduce symptoms of distress. You will help the parents understand the impact of domestic abuse on their children to enable them to better support them. You will ensure the families are linked in with relevant local universal and targeted provision.
Your skills and experience
If you have experience of working with children and families who have experienced domestic abuse, understand the impact of trauma on children and families, can undertake assessments and work in partnership with other local agencies to build support plans, we would like to hear from you.
