  • Dixons Kings Academy: The school will be partially closed from 1pm on Thursday 25 and Friday 26 June. It is scheduled to reopen as usual on Monday 29 June.
  • Dixons McMillan Academy: Partial closure will begin at 12:30pm on Thursday 25 and Friday 26 June due to extreme heat. The school will reopen on Monday 29 June.
  • Clayton Village Primary School: An optional early collection is offered from 1:30pm on Wednesday 24 June, Thursday 25 June, and Friday 26 June. Pupils who are not collected will remain in school until the usual end of the day. The after-school club will continue to operate as normal.
  • Low Moor CofE Primary School: Pupils in Years 1 to 6 will be dismissed following lunch from Wednesday 24 June to Friday 26 June. The school remains open for Reception children, and pupils not collected will be cared for until the end of the school day.
  • Peel Park Primary School and Nursery: Parents have the option to collect children early at 1:30pm on Thursday 25 and Friday 26 June. Year 6 pupils must stay until 3:15pm on Thursday due to a scheduled History workshop in cooler rooms. Pupils not collected early will remain in cooler areas until the usual finish time.
  • Worthinghead Primary School: Optional early collection is available from 1:30pm on Wednesday 24 June and the following two days. The school remains fully open with after-school clubs running as normal.
