Bradford City Fans Gather for ‘Same Shirt, Different Lives’ Event

Community initiative brings supporters together for conversation and reflection

On Thursday 16 July, the Bradford City FC Community Foundation, in partnership with The Roots Programme, held the inaugural ‘Same Shirt, Different Lives’ session at the City Hub. The event was designed to provide a relaxed environment where male supporters of Bradford City Football Club could come together to discuss various aspects of life and their shared passion for the Bantams.

The session offered attendees the opportunity to engage in open conversation, sharing experiences and perspectives related to football and beyond. Hot food was provided during the gathering to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Ian Ormondroyd, a former player for Bradford City and ex-CEO of the Community Foundation, attended the event. He led a discussion reflecting on his career in football, offering insights into his personal journey within the sport.
