Adult Social Care Infection Control and Testing Fund

May 6, 2021 Off By admin

Further to the extension of the Adult Social Care Infection Control Fund in October 2020 and the introduction of the Rapid Testing Fund in January 2021, the government has now consolidated and extended these funding streams until June 2021.

Bradford Council has taken the decision to use £100,000 of the discretionary element of this fund to support providers of day services and activities with infection prevention and control measures.

Funding will be made on a per service user basis, and will be approximately £45.00 per service user. The exact amount per service user will depend on the number of claims made.

Funding will cover the period 1st April to 30th June 2021. The guidance relating to this funding contains more detail on eligible spend, funding conditions and reporting requirements set out by the government. This includes conditions that must be met by you before we can allocate your funding. Take a look at the summary below, however the full government guidance can be found at: http://ow.ly/EBSQ50EG5Tt

Please note however that payment will only be made on confirmation of your acceptance of the conditions. To capture this, there is a declaration for you to sign and return by 17:00 on 14th May 2021.

Ensure you read the guidance summary carefully, including the FAQs. If you have any queries that are not covered in these documents, please email IPCGrant@bradford.gov.uk. Bradford Council thank you for your continued cooperation in these challenging times, helping them to ensure Service Users in the Bradford District receive the care and support they require.
