The event will run from 7pm to 9.30pm and promises a blend of traditional and original music inspired by Nordic, Celtic, and Canadian roots.
About ANEMARA
ANEMARA is a quartet that combines two fiddles, harp, cello, stepdance, and four-part vocal harmonies to create a richly textured and rhythmically engaging sound. The group first came together in Glasgow and has since toured in Sweden and the UK, performing at festivals such as Urkult Festival, Medeltidsveckan, and Celtic Connections.
The name ANEMARA draws from the Greek word “Anemoi,” meaning gods of the four winds, and the Gaelic word “Mara,” meaning of the sea, symbolising the group’s cross-Atlantic connection.
