New weekly event aims to support mental health and wellbeing

A series of free art therapy sessions titled Zimmedari Aur Zindagi – A Caring Journey will begin on Monday, 3 November 2025, at the Mayfield Centre in Bradford. The sessions are organised by SEND Salaam and are designed specifically for parent carers aged 16 and over.

  • Date and time: Starting 3 November 2025, from 10:00 to 11:30 each week
  • Location: Mayfield Centre, Bradford
  • Target audience: Parent carers aged 16 and above
  • Cost: Free of charge

Each week, the sessions will focus on different themes related to the experiences and challenges faced by carers. The aim is to use art as a tool to promote mental health and wellbeing among participants.

Attendance is free, but booking is required. Tickets can be reserved online through the event’s booking page.
