Bradford Park Avenue Vs Farley Celtic Called Off
July 30, 2024Bradford Park Avenue have announced that their pre-season fixture against neighbouring Farley Celtic has been cancelled.
In a statement on the team’s Facebook page, the club announced that the game had to be called off due to a scheduling conflict, combined with “unexpected logistical changes”.
The fixture was originally scheduled to take place at the Horsfall Community Stadium at 3pm on Saturday the 3rd of August.
The statement went on to say that an attempt to change the kick off time to 5pm had failed as this did not suit the visiting side.
With the match postponed, Danny Whitaker’s freshly forged Avenue squad will instead travel to Leicestershire to take on Hinckley Leicester Road FC ahead of their first league fixture.
