Bulls Secure Backing Of New Investor

NIC Services Group, a prominent facilities management service provider headquartered in West Yorkshire, has become a key investor in the Bradford Bulls. The collaboration is seen as a strategic move to elevate the club back to the forefront of rugby league.
Bulls Chairman Nigel Wood expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting the importance of having a robust ownership group in the modern era of rugby league. He commended the efforts of John Spencer, Group Chairman of NIC Services Group, for his commitment to the club’s vision and future success.
The investment is part of a broader initiative to strengthen the club’s financial and operational framework, with recent contributions also coming from investors Paul Wild and Philip Sharp. This collective support is aimed at fulfilling the club’s aspirations on the pitch and meeting the rigorous demands of the IMG obligations in the sport.
Simon Tidswell, Group Finance Director at NIC and a lifelong supporter of the Bulls, will join the club’s board, further solidifying the partnership. Tidswell expressed his excitement about the investment, acknowledging the club’s significant role in the local community, its dedication to grassroots initiatives, such as their Community Clubs Initiative, and its commitment to promoting women’s participation in rugby.
