The acclaimed musical Everybody’s Talking About Jamie is set to return to Bradford’s Alhambra Theatre for a 10th Anniversary Tour. The show will run from 6 to 10 July 2027, with performances starting at 7:30pm each evening.
About the show
Everybody’s Talking About Jamie follows the story of Jamie New, a sixteen-year-old living on a council estate in Sheffield. Jamie faces challenges related to fitting in and fears about the future but is supported by his mother and friends as he confronts prejudice and bullying. The musical explores themes of identity, acceptance and ambition.
The production features an original score composed by Dan Gillespie Sells, lead singer-songwriter of The Feeling, with book and lyrics by Tom MacRae. It has been described by critics as a “sparkling coming-of-age musical” and has previously enjoyed a three-year run in London’s West End, two sold-out UK and Ireland tours, as well as an award-winning film adaptation by Amazon Studios.
