An Open Mic Night exclusively for under 18s is scheduled to take place at Darley Street Market in Bradford city centre on 19 June 2026. The event offers a platform for young people to perform a variety of talents including singing, rapping, dancing, poetry, and playing musical instruments.

Performance information
The event will provide a piano and an acoustic guitar for performers to use. Participants are also welcome to bring their own instruments, although drums and amplifiers will not be permitted due to venue limitations. Backing tracks can be played from phones, iPads, or downloaded files.
Performance slots will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. The number of songs each performer can present will depend on the number of attendees on the night.

- Family and friends are encouraged to attend to support performers

Darley Street Kitchen will be fully open during the event, offering a variety of food and drink options. Due to space and time constraints, bands requiring drums and amplifiers cannot be accommodated at this event; however, future events will be arranged to support full bands.
